πŸ› οΈ Guide for Secure Wall Mounting

Each of our solid beechwood pieces carries not only the spirit of the craft but also significant weight. To ensure that your new wood carving remains stable and safe on the wall for decades to come, we have created this brief guide.

Please take a few minutes to follow these steps before hanging your artwork:

1. Choose the Right Location Wood is a living material. We recommend avoiding installation on walls exposed to extreme moisture, direct intense sunlight, or in close proximity to air conditioners and heating appliances.

2. Prepare the Tools For a seamless installation, you will need:

  • Pencil and measuring tape

  • Spirit level (to ensure the piece sits perfectly horizontal)

  • Power drill

  • Appropriate fasteners (screw and wall plug)

3. Consider the Wall Type (The Most Important Step!) Since solid wood is heavy, the choice of wall plug is critical for your safety:

  • For Brick and Concrete: Use standard nylon wall plugs (min. 6 mm or 8 mm) and sturdy screws.

  • For Drywall: You must use specialized drywall anchors (such as “butterfly” toggles or metal self-drilling anchors) that expand behind the board to distribute the weight.

4. Fixing and Hanging Mark the spot with a pencil, drill carefully, and insert the wall plug. Drive the screw in so that its head protrudes about 3–5 mm from the wall. Carefully align the metal hanger on the back of the carving with the screw head and ensure it is securely engaged before releasing the piece.

⚠️ Important Warning: Never use double-sided tape, adhesive hooks, or ordinary small nails driven at an angle. These cannot support the weight of solid beech, and there is a serious risk of the piece falling and being damaged.

If you have any doubts regarding the installation, please do not hesitate to contact us – we will be happy to assist you!
