This policy governs the terms and procedures for exercising the right of withdrawal from a distance contract, returning goods, and filing claims, in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union.
Right of Withdrawal from the Contract
Pursuant to Art. 50 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), the consumer has the right to withdraw from a concluded distance contract within 14 days, without providing a reason and without owing compensation or a penalty.
The period begins from the date on which the consumer or a third party, other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer, has accepted the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify the merchant through an unequivocal statement (for example, by email).
2. Conditions for Returning Goods
The consumer is obliged to return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which they communicated their withdrawal from the contract.
The goods must be returned:
in good commercial condition, without signs of use exceeding what is necessary to establish their characteristics and functioning, with all accompanying elements and packaging (where applicable).
The consumer is responsible for the diminished value of the goods resulting from improper use.
The costs of returning the goods are at the expense of the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Art. 57 of the CPA, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
for goods made to the consumer’s order or according to their individual requirements (including personalized items made from a photo or design); for goods which, by their nature, may deteriorate in quality or have a short shelf life; for goods which have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (where applicable).
4. Refunds
When the right of withdrawal is exercised, the merchant shall refund all payments received from the consumer, excluding additional delivery costs chosen by the consumer (other than standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which they were notified of the withdrawal.
The merchant has the right to withhold payment until the returned goods are received or proof of their shipment is provided.
The refund is made using the same means of payment used by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
5. Claims
The consumer has the right to a claim in case of non-conformity of the goods with the sales contract pursuant to Art. 112–115 of the CPA.
The claim may be filed within 2 years from the delivery of the goods.
When filing a claim, the consumer may choose between:
repair of the goods; replacement with a new one; price reduction; termination of the contract and refund of the amount paid (in case of significant non-conformities).
The claim is submitted via:
email; telephone; the contact form on the website.
The following should be attached to the claim:
proof of purchase; description of the problem; photographic material (if possible).
6. Processing Time for Claims
Claims are reviewed within 30 days of their submission, in accordance with legal requirements.
7. Specifics of Wood Products
Due to the natural origin of the material (wood), minimal differences in texture, color, and grain are possible. These characteristics do not constitute a defect but are a natural property of the product.
